Airtanker Base Directory Unit
The NWCG Airtanker Base Directory offers a single source of information on airtanker bases across all geographic areas. It is intended to aid wildland fire managers, pilots, and contractors in the use of airtanker base facilities and does not supersede any regulations, authority, local procedures, FAA regulations, laws of any entity, common sense, or the authority of the Pilot-in-Command.
A hard copy is not in production for 2020.  These updates apply to the PDF version only.  The Directory app is still in progress.  Notification will be sent when the app is live.
PMS 507
National Wildfire Coordinating Group
Our mission is to provide national leadership to enable interoperable wildland fire operations among federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial partners.  NWCG operations standards are interagency by design; they are developed with the intent of universal adoption by the member agencies.  However, the decision to adopt and utilize them is made independently by the individual member agencies and communicated through their respective directives systems.
