Greetings, Telluride

Shavuot is almost here!
Weather permitting, we'll sit outside, sing a few prayers, and enjoy a short discussion about the holiday no one knows about—described by Rachel Goldberg-Polin as the Sabrina of Jewish holidays.  Plus: raspberry cheesecake from Butcher and cocktails.

Please RSVP soon if you'd like to come.
When: Sunday, June 1, 5:30–6:30 PM
Where: Address provided upon request

+ A few spots remain in the June 10 cooking class!
Jeffrey & Steve are teaming up to lead an extremely haute take on gefilte and matzoh.

Jeffrey is a graduate of Escoffier Chef School and the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. He trained with Julia Child and Jacques PĂ©pin, and has worked at The French Laundry, Fleur de Lys, and Chez Panisse.

Now he's teaming up with the highly charismatic local favorite Chef Steve Hertzfeld to teach us to make good gefilte fish. This is your best chance to show off next Passover. Register here before it is announced publicly.

As his parents fight desperately to bring him home, the case ignites international outrage and becomes a powerful political struggle. Following the screening, we'll be joined via Zoom by Pulitzer Prize winning author Dr. David Kertzer of Brown University for a Q&A. Doors open at 3:30 PM, film begins at 4:00. Tickets are $18 in advance or $22 at the door. $9 for anyone under 25. Wine and light refreshments will be available. Tickets here
