you hear it, the river almost a silence
almost at the tip of the island
before them the island opens in two a big grey steaming mouth
the river wants to eat us

skin of rain and hair of winter
neither she or she standing,
the stream burbling in their eyes
you just sang something.

she asks, and in the near silence of the carnivorous waters,
she listens to this unknown tongue sing the river song and scale the dragon's surges. | | Wies creates her collections with luxury fabrics that stand the test of time. They are exclusively sourced from France, England, Italy, Switzerland, and Japan. The wool is produced by Kynoch and Clissold, two historical weavers based in England. The silk and lurex fabrics are woven at Denis & Fils, the jacquards and silk are produced by Les Tissages Perrin, the knitwear is produced in Normandy by the Tricoterie du Val de Saire. All three companies are part of the French Living Heritage Network. The production of Indress collections is entrusted to highly regarded ateliers and factories based in Europe. The woven pieces are made in small editions in northern Croatia. Wies travels to each production site at every season.
The iconic brooches in recycled silk are handmade by one of the last independent workshops in France, and the ostrich feather brooches are made by a leading feather artisan.
