Congrats to MFA DSI faculty and + POOL Managing Director, Kara Meyer, on the arrival of + POOL's pilot pool for NYC! This past Spring a DSI student team (Jieying Du, Xiaolan Fu, Hao Jie Sim, Ximing Wang, & Kelsey Zhang) created a field guide for the next generation of NYC water stewards, in partnership with + POOL through DSI's Communication Design class. MFA DSI faculty Alison Cornyn's art project, Incorrigibles, premiered the film Hilda O. vs. The State of New York. Hilda was sexually abused at a NY State Training School for Girls; this is the story of her fight for justice. Congrats to Wenqi Zhang (MFA DSI '19) for being published in CoDesign Journal! Read Wenqi's article on co-design facilitation. Ae Duk Lee (MFA DSI '26) won two scholarships this summer, one from the Kang Dream Foundation and one from the ANC Scholarship Foundation. Congrats!
