High Holy Days in Telluride

Dear Friends,

We hope you are finding meaning in these Days of Awe. Many of us shared a beautiful Rosh Hashanah together with services, Taschlich, study sessions, and a tots' service here in Telluride. Thank you to Rabbi Ken, Stephen and Bonnie Wise, Andrea and Scott Brenner, Jay Einbender, and all the generous hosts making this week possible.

All services led by Rabbi Ken, our guest rabbi from Honolulu. 

  • Kol Nidre – Wednesday, Oct 1 at 5:30 PM RSVP

  • Morning Service – Thursday, Oct 2 at 10:00 AM RSVP

  • Alternative Meditative Hike – Thursday, Oct 2 at 10:30 AM (contact Michael Saftler to join)

  • Yizkor (Memorial Service) – Thursday, Oct 2 at 12:00 PM

  • Ne'ilah (Concluding Service) – Thursday, Oct 2 at 5:30 PM RSVP

  • Break-the-Fast Potluck – Thursday, Oct 2 at 7:00 PM (immediately after Ne'ilah)

Sukkot and October 7

  • Sunday, Oct 5 – Film Screening Commemorating the Victims of October 7. If you are interested in attending, please email Sari for details.

  • Friday, Oct 10, 5:30–7:30 PM – Shabbat on the Mesa: Sukkot Blessings & Community Potluck. RSVP here. 

    • Where: On a mesa past Placerville (30 minutes from Telluride or Ridgway)

    • What to Bring: A food dish to share, a beverage of your choice, and fruit or a vegetable to hang in the sukkah.

When: Friday, October 10, 5:30–7:30 PM
Where: on a mesa past Placerville, 30 min from Telluride or Ridgway—details shared upon RSVP
Come welcome Shabbat together in the Sukkah. Bring a food dish to share and a beverage of your choice.  Please bring fruit or vegetable to hang in the sukkah!
