Hannayoo Works

HANNA YOO, the founder, and creator of hannayoo works, has been working in Fashion from Seoul, Paris to New York throughout her 20 years experience. And she founded her own ‘hannayoo works’ house in 2021 based in Brooklyn, NY.

Hanna was the former design director at a fashion brand Tibi since 2017, working with team for eight and half years at Tibi from 2013 to 2022 and worked with a british designer Victoria Bartlett at VPL when she fist moved to NY from Paris.

Before moving to the USA, she lived in France for eight years until 2011. Hanna graduated from ‘ l’Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture parisienne ’ in 2005 and worked at a French brand, BARBARA BUI, for five years as her right-hand assistant, assisting with over ten collections. She studied Fashion in Korea at Kyungpook National University and learned to create a story through colors, fabrics, and draping designs on a dress form like a sculpture during her early career in Korea.
